* These matches are International and will be used for USA Shooting Preliminary Team Tryouts. The minimum scores for an invitation to the Final Tryouts are:

Competition opens to members of the National Rifle Association (NRA Conventional matches)
Competition opens to members of the USA Shooting (International matches). USA Shooting members renew or register online for membership prior to the match. Anyone who is not in the system will not be able to have their scores uploaded. Log onto www.usashooting.com. New or renew membership accept at time of registration.
Entry fees: Cash, Check, money order, or valid Chabot points. Make checks or money orders payable to Chabot Gun Club.
One Event: $20.00

Snack vending/change machines available at the range
Hearing Protection and Impact Resistant Glasses are required. Competitors must furnish own staple gun, staples, and target pasters. Air guns, you supply your own refills.
Range Capacity: 1 relay, 15 competitors.
Classification: All competitors will be classified under current NRA rules for Conventional matches and USAS rules for International matches. Unclassified competitors will fire in the Master or AA (Unclassified) class; after their first tournament, they will use their official Score Record Book for a temporary classification until they receive their official classification card from NRA. Classification cards will no longer be printed and mailed by USA Shooting. Members will be able to view and print their current membership card and classifications. Log on to www.usashooting.com.
Rules: All current NRA Conventional pistol match and USA Shooting International pistol match rules shall govern the administration of these tournaments. Only designated range official may use plug-type scoring gauge.
Challenges: A $1.00 fee will be required. If the challenge is sustained, the fee will be returned.
Awards: If there are less than five competitors in a class, they will be moved to the next higher class. If there are five or less shooters in a class and the class cannot be combined with a higher classification and the match winner comes from that class, there will be no further awards in that class. Award points are good for one year from date of issue. One point is worth $1.00 and is redeemable at Chabot Gun Club. Sanctioned Tournament Medals are available in lieu of points; an order form must be filled out at the match and valid Chabot points and/or an additional check or money order must be attached. Allow six to eight weeks for delivery.

COURSES OF FIRE
Conventional Pistol Matches
Open, 90 shots. B6 (50 yard slow fire) and B8 (25 yard timed and rapid fire) targets
Match 1, 6, Slow fire, two strings of 10 shots in 10 minutes
Match 2, 7, National Match Course, 10 shots each slow, timed and rapid fire
Match 3, 8, Timed fire, four strings of 5 shots in 20 seconds
Match 4, 9, Rapid fire, four strings of 5 shots in 10 seconds
Match 5, 10, Aggregate

International Air Pistol
Open 60 shots; women, 40 shots. B40/4 targets (10 meters). Total time for 60 shots including unlimited sighters is 1 hour 45 minutes. For women, 40 shots in 1 hour 15 minutes. Three shots per bull. Fired as a 17 1/2 minute sighter period, then five series of 12 shots in 17 1/2 minutes. All sighter shots are fired before the first record shot.
International Free Pistol
Open, 60 shots. B 19 targets (50 yards). Total time for 60 shots including unlimited sighters is 2 hours. Ten shots per bull. Fired as a 17 minute sighter period, then six series of 10 shots in 17 minutes. All sighter shots are fired before the first record shot.
International Standard Pistol
Open, 60 shots. B19 targets (25 yards). A 5 shot 150 second sighter series may be fired before the first 150 second stage.
150 second stage: Four series of 5 shots in 150 seconds (2 1/2 minutes)
20 second stage: Four series of 5 shots in 20 seconds
10 second stage: Four series of 5 shots in 10 seconds
International Center Fire & Women’s Sport Pistol
Open, 60 shots. B19, B38 targets (25 yards). A 5 shot sighter series may be fired before each stage.
Precision stage: Six series of 5 shots in 5 minutes
Rapid Fire stage: Six series of 5 shots. During each series, the target appears 5 times for 3 seconds with a 7 second pause between each appearance. One shot to be fired during each 3 second appearance.
International Rapid Fire Pistol
Open, 60 shots. B38 targets (25 yards). Each match is divided into two stages of 30 shots. Each stage consists of two 5 shot series in each of 8, 6, and 4 seconds during which one shot is fired at each of 5 targets. An 8 second 5 shot slighter series may be fired before each stage.
Chabot Gun Club Management reserves the right to refuse admission, control occupancy or remove anyone whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly or who fails to comply with any safety regulation.
