Intermediate Handgun Safety & Marksmanship Class:
The next step after Basic Handgun Safety and Marksmanship
When: Third Saturday each month
Time: 9 AM to 1 PM Please do not be late!

Cost: $65 for the class, firearm, ammunition, eye and ear protection

Pre-Requisite: Basic Handgun Safety and Marksmanship Class
This is an excellent way to tune up your skills. Instruction will review:
Fundamentals of safety.
How to hold. How to stand.
How to safely load and unload.
How to shoot safely and accurately.
How to clear basic jams and malfunctions.
Then the instructor will add:
Multiple target engagement.
Shooting steel for fun (and noise) as time permits.
If we provide the firearm it will be a Glock. You are welcome to bring your own Glock. If you want to shoot another firearm you will start out with a Glock and can transition later as time permits.
The format is approximately 1 1/2 hours of safety refresher and dry-fire instruction, then 2 1/2 hours of live-fire practice.
Please register and pay in advance. The class is limited to five students at this time.
Chabot Gun Club will not knowingly train anyone in this class who cannot legally be in possession of firearms. Students must be 21 years of age or must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
